Author Biography
Frank Miller
- Frank Miller was born on January 27, 1957 in Olney, Maryland and grew up in Vermont.
- He found his passion for writing comic books at a young age. He began reading thrillers in his early teens.
- Frank drew attention to his own work through the popular comics from Marvel's Daredevil.
- Notably, in 1986, Miller created the popular Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.
- Later on in 1990, Frank wrote the screenplay to Robocop 2 and then Robocop 3 three years later.
- Frank Miller also created the historical work about Spartans during the Persian Wars, 300, in 1998.
- in 2001 Miller returned to his work on Batman.
- Directing a film for the first time, Miller made a film adaption of his comic series Sin City.
- With many more things in the works, Miller continues to produce films and comics.
